Stingray Pipeline Company; Notice of Compliance Filing to 
Effectuate Changes in FERC Gas Tariff

October 8, 1996.
    Take notice that on October 4, 1996, pursuant to ``Order After 
Technical Conference'' issued herein on September 19, 1996 (Order), 
Stingray Pipeline Company (Stingray) tendered for filing as part of its 
FERC Gas Tariff, Third Revised Volume No. 1, proposed tariff sheets to 
become effective December 1, 1996.
    Stingray states that the purpose of the filing is to comply with 
the Order addressing revised cashout procedures.
    Stingray requests whatever waivers may be necessary to permit the 
tariff sheets as submitted to become effective December 1, 1996.
    Stingray states that copies of the filing are being mailed to 
Stingray's jurisdictional customers, interested state regulatory 
agencies and all parties set out on the official service list at Docket 
No. RP96-180-000.
    Any person desiring to protest said filing should file a protest 
with the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission, 888 First Street, N.E., 
Washington, D.C. 20426, in accordance with Section 385.211 of the 
Commission's Rules and Regulations. All such protests must be filed as 
provided in Section 154.210 of the Commission's Regulations. Protests 
will be considered by the Commission in determining the appropriate 
action to

be taken, but will not serve to make protestants parties to the 
proceeding. Copies of this filing are on file with the Commission and 
are available for public inspection in the Public Reference Room.
