Petroglyph National Monument Advisory Commission; Notice of 
Meeting

    Notice is hereby given in accordance with the Federal Advisory 
Committee Act, Public Law 92-463, that a meeting of the Petroglyph 
National Monument Advisory Commission will be held at 9:00 a.m., on 
Friday, November 15, 1996, at the Sheraton Old Town Hotel, 800 Rio 
Grande Boulevard N.W., Albuquerque, New Mexico.

    The Petroglyph National Monument Advisory Commission was 
established pursuant to Public Law 101-313, establishing Petroglyph 
National Monument, to advise the Secretary of the Interior on the 
management and development of the monument and on the preparation of 
the monument's general management plan.
    Matters to be discussed at this meeting include:
Introduction of Commission members and guests
Superintendent's Report
Status report on the General Management Plan
New Business
Public Comment
    The meeting will be open to the public. Any member of the public 
may file a written statement concerning the matters to be discussed at 
the Commission meeting with the Superintendent.
    Persons who wish further information concerning the meeting, or who 
wish to submit written comments may contact Judith Cordova, 
Superintendent, Petroglyph National Monument, 6001 Unser Boulevard

    Minutes of the Commission meeting will be available for public 
inspection six weeks after the meeting, at Petroglyph National Monument 
Headquarters.
