Algonquin Gas Transmission Company; Notice of Proposed Changes in 
FERC Gas Tariff

October 13, 1995.
    Take notice that on October 6, 1995, Algonquin Gas Transmission 
Company (Algonquin), tendered for filing as part of its FERC Gas 
Tariff, Original Volume No. 2, the following revised tariff sheet:

Sixth Revised Sheet No. 343

    The proposed effective date of the tariff sheet is October 1, 1995.
    Algonquin states that the purpose of this filing is to correct the 
pagination for sheet No. 343, in compliance with the Letter Order 
issued in Docket No. TM96-1-1-000 on September 29, 1995.
    Algonquin states that copies of this tariff filing were mailed to 
all firm customers of Algonquin and interested state commissions.
    Any person desiring to protest said filing should file a protest 
with the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission, 825 North Capitol 
Street, NE., Washington, D.C. 20426, in accordance with 385.211 of the 
Commission's Rules and Regulations. All such protests should be filed 
on or before October 20, 1995. Protest will be considered by the 
Commission in determining the appropriate action to be taken, but will 
not serve to make protestants parties to the proceeding. Copies of this 
filing are on file with the Commission and are available for public 
inspection in the Public Reference Room.
