Notice of Compliance Filing

October 13, 1998.
    Take notice that on October 1, 1998, Ozark Gas Transmission L. L. 
C. (Ozark) filed its FERC Gas Tariff, Original Volume No. 1, consisting 
of Original Sheets 0 through 158, to become effective November 1, 1998. 
Ozark asserts that the purpose of this filing is to comply with the 
Commission's order in this certificate proceeding issued July 1, 1998. 
In addition, Ozark is submitting initial rates that are reflected in 
this tariff, also as required by the issued order.
    Any person desiring to be heard or to protest said filing should 
file a motion to intervene or protest with the Federal Energy 
Regulatory Commission, 888 First Street, N.E., Washington, D.C. 20426, 
in accordance with Rules 211 and 214 of the Commission's Rules of 
Practice and Procedure. All such motions or protests should be filed on 
or before November 3, 1998. Protests will be considered by the 
Commission in determining the appropriate action to be taken but will 
not serve to make the

Protestants parties to the proceeding. Any person wishing to become a 
party to a proceeding must file a motion to intervene. Copies of this 
filing are on file with the Commission and are available for public 
inspection in the Public Reference Room.
