Special Emphasis Panel in Biological Sciences; Meeting

    In accordance with the Federal Advisory Committee Act (Pub. L. 92-
463, as amended), the National Science Foundation announces the 
following meeting:

    Name: Special Emphasis Panel in Biological Sciences 
(1754).
    Date and Time: November 9, 1994 from 8:30-6:00 pm.
    Place: Room 615, NSF, 4201 Wilson Boulevard, Arlington, VA 
22230.
    Type of Meeting: Closed.
    Contact Person: Dr. Gerald Selzer, Program Director, Division of

    Purpose of Meeting: To provide advice and recommendations 
concerning preliminary proposals submitted to the NSF.
    Agenda: To review and evaluate preliminary proposals submitted 
in response to the Macromolecular Structure Database proposal 
solicitation (NSF 94-96).
    Reason for Closing: The proposals being reviewed include 
information of a proprietary or confidential nature, including 
technical information, financial data, such as salaries; and 
personal information concerning individuals associated with the 
proposals. These matters are within exemptions (4) and (6) of 5 
U.S.C. 552b(c), the Government in the Sunshine Act.
