Approval and Promulgation of Implementation Plans; Michigan: 
Extension of Comment Period

AGENCY: Environmental Protection Agency (USEPA).

ACTION: Proposed rule; extension of the comment period.

SUMMARY: The USEPA is extending the comment period for a proposed 
action published June 15, 1994 (59 FR 30742). On June 15, 1994 USEPA 
proposed disapproval of the State Implementation Plan (SIP) submitted 
by the State of Michigan for the purpose of bringing about the 
attainment of the National Ambient Air Quality Standards (NAAQS) for 
particulate matter with an aerodynamic diameter less than or equal to a 
nominal 10 micrometers (PM).
    On August 2, 1994 (59 FR 39311) USEPA extended the comment period, 
at the State's request, to September 14, 1994. At the request of the 
Michigan Department of Natural Resources, USEPA is extending the 
comment period.
DATES: Comments on the June 15, 1994 (59 FR 30742), proposed action are 
due October 31, 1994.
