Wyoming Interstate Company, Ltd.; Notice of Nonconforming 
Negotiated Rates Filing

October 16, 1996.
    Take notice that on October 10, 1996, Wyoming Interstate Company, 
Ltd. (WIC), filed in Docket No. RP97-28-000 for authorization to 
implement nonconforming negotiated rates in its FERC Gas Tariff, Second 
Revised Volume No. 2. WIC avers that the filing complies with the 
Commission's requirements included in Docket No. RM95-6.
    WIC has requested an effective date of November 15, 1996. WIC 
states that the filing has been mailed to all holders of its FERC Gas 
Tariff, Second Revised Volume No. 2.
    Any person desiring to be heard or to make any protest with 
reference to said filing should file a motion to intervene or protest 
with the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission, 888 First Street, N.E., 
Washington, DC 20426, in accordance with the Commission's Rules of 
Practice and Procedure (18 CFR 385.214 or 385.211). All such motions or 
protests must be filed as provided in Section 154.210 of the 
Commission's Regulations. All protests filed with the Commission will 
be considered by it in determining the appropriate action to be taken, 
but will not serve to make the protestants parties to the proceedings. 
Any person wishing to become a party must file a motion to intervene in 
accordance with the Commission's Rules. Copies of this filing are on 
file with the Commission and are available for public inspection in the 
Public Reference Room.
