ACTION:
Announcement of monthly planning meeting.
SUMMARY:
Notice is hereby given, pursuant to the provisions of the rules and regulations of the U.S. Commission on Civil Rights (Commission), and the Federal Advisory Committee Act (FACA), that a meeting of the District of Columbia Advisory Committee to the Commission will convene by conference call, at 12:00 p.m. (EST) Thursday, November 1, 2018. The purpose of the planning meeting is to continue project planning for a future briefing meeting on the Committee's civil rights project, which will examine the treatment of homeless persons that get swept up in the DC criminal justice system, including a review of the DC Mental Health Court.
