    SUMMARY:

    Notice is hereby given that the Department of Veterans Affairs, Office of Research and Development, intends to grant to Recovery Pharmaceuticals, Inc., 25 Main Street, Wayland, MA 01778, U.S.A., an exclusive license to practice U.S. Patent Application Serial No.09/070,263, filed April 30, 1998, issuing as U.S. Patent 6,211,194, entitled “Solution Containing Nicotine”.

    Comments must be received within fifteen (15) days from the date of this published Notice.

    SUPPLEMENTARY INFORMATION:

    It is in the public interest to so license this invention as Recovery Pharmaceuticals, Inc., submitted a complete and sufficient application for a license. The prospective exclusive license will be royalty-bearing and will comply with the terms and conditions of 35 U.S.C. 209 and 37 CFR 404.7. The prospective exclusive license may be granted unless, within fifteen (15) days from the date of this published Notice, the Department of Veterans Affairs Office of Research and Development receives written evidence and argument which establishes that the grant of the license would not be consistent with the requirements of 35 U.S.C. 209 and 37 CFR 404.7.
