ANR Pipeline Company; Notice of Proposed Changes In FERC Gas 
Tariff

October 18, 1996.
    Take notice that on October 11, 1996, ANR Pipeline Company (ANR) 
tendered for filing as part of its FERC Gas Tariff, Second Revised 
Volume No. 1, the following tariff sheets to become effective June 1, 
1996:

Substitute Seventeenth Revised Sheet No. 18
Substitute Eighteenth Revised Sheet No. 18

    ANR states that the above-referenced updated tariff sheets are 
being filed to restate its Gas Supply Realignment (GSR), Pricing 
Differential (PD), and Dakota Reservation Surcharges, to reflect the 
impact of the update of the Eligible MDQ that is used to calculate 
those Surcharges in compliance with the Commission's letter order dated 
September 26, 1996.
    Any person desiring to protest this filing should file a protest 
with the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission, 888 First Street, N.W., 
Washington, D.C. 20426, in accordance with 18 CFR 385.211 of the 
Commission's Rules and Regulations. All such protests must be filed as 
provided in Section 154.210 of the Commission's Regulations. Protests 
will be considered by the Commission in determining the appropriate 
action to be taken, but will not serve to make protestants parties to 
the proceeding. Copies of this filing are on file with the Commission 
and are available for public inspection in the Public Reference Room.
