Tennessee Gas Pipeline Co.; Notice of Tariff Filing

October 20, 1994.
    Take notice that on October 17, 1994, Tennessee Gas Pipeline 
Company (Tennessee), tendered for filing its revised 2nd Sub Original 
Sheet No. 22A and 2nd Substitute First Revised Sheet No. 314 of its 
FERC Gas Tariff, Fifth Revised Volume No. 1 for a proposed effective 
date of August 22, 1994.
    Tennessee states that the filing is in compliance with the 
Commission's Order, issued September 30, 1994, in the above-referenced 
docket. Tennessee further states that the September 30th Order required 
Tennessee to file supporting workpapers showing the derivation of the 
rates for its new IT-X service and to incorporate the Commission's 
proposed language regarding hourly changes in IT-X nominations into its 
tariff.
    Any person desiring to protest said filing should file a protest 
with the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission, 825 North Capitol 
Street, NE., Washington, DC 20426, in accordance with Section 211 of 
the Commission's Rules of Practice and Procedure, 18 CFR 385.211. All 
such protests should be filed on or before October 27, 1994. Protests 
will be considered by the Commission in determining the appropriate 
action to be taken, but will not serve to make protestants parties to 
this proceeding. Copies of this filing are on file and available for 
public inspection.
