National Institute of Diabetes and Digestive and Kidney Diseases;
Meeting of the Board of Scientific Counselors
Pursuant to Pub. L. 92-463, notice is hereby given of the meeting
of the Board of Scientific Counselors, National Institute of Diabetes
and Digestive and Kidney Diseases (NIDDK), November 2-4, 1994, National
Institutes of Health, Building 5, Room 127, Bethesda, Maryland 20892.
This meeting will be open to the public on November 2 from 7 p.m. to
9:30 p.m. and November 3 from 9 a.m. to 12 noon and 2 p.m. to 5 p.m.
The open portion of the meeting will be devoted to scientific
presentations by various laboratories of the NIDDK Intramural Research
Program. Attendance by the public will be limited to space available.
In accordance with the provisions set forth in sec. 552b(c)(6),
Title 5, U.S.C. and sec. 10(d) of Pub. L. 92-463, the meeting will be
closed to the public on November 2 from 6:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. and from
9:30 p.m. to 10:30 p.m.; November 3 from 12 noon to 2 p.m. and 5 p.m.
to 6 p.m. and on November 4 from 9 a.m. to adjournment for the review,
discussion and evaluation of individual intramural programs and
projects conducted by the NIDDK, including consideration of personnel
qualifications and performance, the competence of individual
investigations, and similar items, disclosure of which would constitute
a clearly unwarranted invasion of personal privacy.
Summaries of the meeting and rosters of the members will be
provided by the Committee Management Office, National Institute of
Diabetes and Digestive and Kidney Diseases, Building 31, Room 9A19,
Bethesda, Maryland 20892. For any further information, and for
individuals who plan to attend and need special assistance, such as
sign language interpretation or other reasonable accommodations, please
