Southwest Resource Advisory Council Meeting

AGENCY: Bureau of Land Management, Interior.

ACTION: Notice; Resource Advisory Council Meeting.

SUMMARY: In accordance with the Federal Advisory Committee Act (5 
U.S.C.), notice is hereby given that the Southwest Resource Advisory 
Council (Southwest RAC) will meet on Thursday, November 13, 1997, at 
the Anasazi Heritage Center near Dolores, Colorado.

DATES: The meeting will be held on Thursday, November 13, 1997.

SUPPLEMENTARY INFORMATION: The November 13, 1997, meeting will begin at 
9:00 a.m. at the Anasazi Heritage Center, 27501 Highway 184, three 
miles west of Dolores, Colorado. The agenda will include a summary of 
the fee pilot program at the Heritage Center, status reports on sage 
grouse planning efforts in Dry Creek Basin and the abandoned mine land 
reclamation effort in the upper Animas River drainage, and discussion 
on recreation guidelines. Time will be provided for public comments.
    All Resource Advisory Council meetings are open to the public. 
Interested persons may make oral statements to the Council, or written 
statements may be submitted for the Council's consideration. If 
necessary, a per-person time limit may be established by the Montrose 
District Manager.
    Summary minutes for Council meetings are maintained in the Montrose 
District Office and on the World Wide Web at http://www.co.blm.gov/mdo/
mdo__sw__rac.htm and are available for public inspection and 
reproduction within thirty (30) days following each meeting.
