Description of Filing: The licensee proposes to replace the four 1930 vintage Francis waterwheels, with new stainless steel waterwheels that are being designed to fit in the same hole and bolt to the same shaft and generator as the original wheel. The new waterwheel will pass approximately 300 cfs and thereby increases the total hydraulic capacity of the plant from 5,800 to 7,200 cfs. Even though, the turbine capacity would be increased by 30 percent, the installed capacity would not change since there are no plans to upgrade the generators.

In determining the appropriate action to take, the Commission will consider all protests or other comments filed, but only those who file a motion to intervene in accordance with the Commission's Rules may become a party to the proceeding. Any comments, protests, or motions to intervene must be received on or before the specified comment date for the particular application.
