Meeting Regarding Access Authorization Program Issues

AGENCY: Nuclear Regulatory Commission.

ACTION: Notice of open meeting.

SUMMARY: The Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) will conduct an open 
meeting to discuss access authorization program issues with 
representatives of the Nuclear Energy Institute (NEI). The NEI 
requested the meeting to discuss program issues related to licensee 
implementation of 10 CFR 73.56, ``Personnel access authorization 
requirements for nuclear power plants,'' and 10 CFR 73.57, 
``Requirements for criminal history checks of individuals granted 
unescorted access to a nuclear power facility or access to Safeguards 
Information by power reactor licensees.'' A summary of the meeting will 
be prepared and will be available upon request.

DATES: The meeting will be held at 10:00 a.m. on November 8, 1995, at 
NRC Headquarters.
