National Library of Education Advisory Task Force Meeting
AGENCY: National Library of Education Advisory Task Force, Education.
ACTION: Notice of meeting.

SUMMARY: This notice sets forth the schedule and proposed agenda for
the fourth meeting of the National Library of Education Adviory Task
Force (Task Force). This notice also describes the functions of the
Task Force. Notice of this meeting is required under Section 10(a)(2)
of the Federal Advisory Committee Act and is intended to notify the
public of their opportunity to attend.
DATES AND TIME: October 30, 1996, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.; October 31,
1996, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.; November 1, 1996, 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.

SUPPLEMENTARY INFORMATION: The National Library of Education Advisory
Task Force is authorized by Part E, Section 951(h) of the Educational
Research, Development, Dissemination, and Improvement Act of 1994. The
Task Force prepares a set of recommendations on the establishment and
development of the National Library of Education for presentation to
the Assistant Secretary for the Office of Educational Research and
Improvement.
The meeting of the Task Force is open to the public. The agenda for
October 30-November 2, 1996 includes the adoption of the Task Force
Report and planning for marketing the Report.
A final agenda will be available from the offices of the National
Library of Education on October 14, 1996.
Records are kept of all Task Force proceedings, and are available
for public inspection at the central office of the National Library of
Education, 555 New Jersey Ave., NW., Washington, D.C. 20208-5523
between the hours of 8:30 a.m.-4:30 p.m.
