Caribbean Fishery Management Council; Public Meeting
AGENCY: National Marine Fisheries Service (NMFS), National Oceanic and
Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), Commerce.
ACTION: Notice of rescheduled public meeting.

SUMMARY: The Caribbean Fishery Management Council (Council) has
rescheduled its 95th Council meeting.
DATES: The Council meeting will be held on October 6, 1998.
ADDRESSES: The meeting will be held at the Best Western Pierre Hotel,
at the De Diego Avenue, San Juan, Puerto Rico.

SUPPLEMENTARY INFORMATION: The Council has rescheduled its 95th regular
public meeting to discuss the Draft Essential Fish Habitat (EFH)
Generic Amendment to the Fishery Management Plans (FMPs) of the U.S.
Caribbean, and will take final action on these items. This meeting was
previously scheduled for September 29, 1998 and was cancelled due to
Hurricane Georges. This meeting was previously published in the Federal
Register on September 4, 1998 (63 FR 47268).
The Council will meet on Tuesday, October 6, 1998, from 10:00 a.m.
to 4:00 p.m. The meeting is open to the public, and will be conducted
in English. Fishers and other interested persons are invited to attend
and participate with oral and written statements regarding agenda
issues.
Although other issues not contained in this agenda may come before
this Council for discussion, in accordance with the Magnuson-Stevens
Fishery Management Act, those issues may not be the subject of formal
action during this memeting. Council action will be restricted to those
issues specifically listed in this notice.
