    AGENCY: Bureau of Land Management, Idaho.
    
    ACTION: Application to purchase mineral interests owned by the United 
    States, Bingham County, Idaho.

    NOTICE: Notice is hereby given that an application to purchase the 
    mineral interests owned by the United States on the following described 
    lands was received by the Bureau of Land Management on July 30, 1998.
    
    T. 1 S., R. 39 E., Boise Meridian
        Section 18: NW\1/4\SE\1/4\.
    
        40.00 Acres.
    
        Publication of this notice segregates the mineral interests owned 
    by the United States on the above described lands from appropriation 
    under the
    
    [[Page 53694]]
    
    public land laws, including the mining laws. The segregative effect of 
    the application shall terminate either upon issuance of a patent or 
    other document of conveyance to such mineral interests, upon final 
    rejection of the application, or two years from the date of filing the 
    application, which ever occurs first.
