Dow Intrastate Gas Company; Notice of Shortened Comment Period

September 30, 1999.
    On September 28, 1999, Dow Intrastate Gas Company (DIGCO) filed a 
proposed Stipulation and Agreement reflecting an uncontested Settlement 
Offer (Offer) filed in this proceeding pursuant to Rule 602 of the 
Commission's Regulations (18 CFR 385.602). DIGCO also requested a 
shortened comment period under Rule 602(f). There are no intervenors in 
this proceeding.
    For good cause shown, the Commission directs the establishment of a 
shortened comment period under Rule 602(f), and requires initial 
comments on the Offer to be filed on or before October 5, 1999, with 
reply comments due by October 8, 1999.
