Sabine Pipe Line Company; Notice of Proposed Changes in FERC Gas
Tariff
October 5, 1998.
Take notice that on October 1, 1998, Sabine Pipe Line Company
(Sabine) tendered for filing as part of its FERC Gas Tariff, Second
Revised Volume No. 1, the following tariff sheets, with an effective
date of November 2, 1998:

Sabine states that the purpose of this filing is to comply with the
Commission's order issued July 15, 1998, in Docket No. RM96-1-008.
Sabine states that the instant filing reflects changes to the
General Terms and Conditions of its Tariff required to implement
standards issued by the Gas Industry Standards Board (GISB) and adopted
by the Commission in Order No. 587-H issued July 15, 1998, in Docket
No. RM 96-1-008. The filing also implements changes required by
Commission Regulations Section 284.10(b)(1)(i), relating to intra-day
nominations promulgated March 12, 1998, by GISB.
Sabine states that copies of this filing are being mailed to its
customers, state commission and other interested parties.
Any person desiring to be heard or to protest said filing should
file a motion to intervene or protest with the Federal Energy
Regulatory Commission, 888 First Street, N.E., Washington, D.C. 20427,
in accordance with Sections 385.214 or 385.211 of the Commission's
Rules and Regulations. All such motions or protests must be filed in
accordance with Section 154.210 of the Commission's Regulations.
Protests will be considered by the Commission in determining the
appropriate action to be taken, but will not serve to make protestants
parties to the proceedings.
Any person wishing to become a party must file a motion to
intervene. Copies of this filing are on file with the Commission and
are available for public inspection in the Public Reference Room.
