    Limited Waiver of Tariff

    October 5, 1998.
Take notice that on October 1, 1998, pursuant to Rule 207(a)(5) of

Northwest Pipeline Corporation (Northwest) tendered for filing a
Petition for Grant of Limited Waiver of Tariff.
Northwest seeks a waiver of the applicable capacity release

Inc., a wholly-owned subsidiary of Intermountain Industries, Inc., to
transfer its Rate Schedule TF-1 firm transportation capacity under an
agreement dated July 31, 1991, to its affiliate, Intermountain Gas
Company, another wholly-owned subsidiary of Intermountain Industries,
    Inc.
Northwest states that a copy of this filing has been served upon
Northwest's jurisdictional customers and upon affected state regulatory
    commissions.

Regulatory Commission, 888 First Street, NE, Washington, DC 20426, in
accordance with Sections 385.214 or 385.211 of the Commission's Rules
and Regulations. All such motions or protests must be filed on or
before October 13, 1998. Protests will be considered by the Commission
in determining the appropriate action to be taken, but will not serve
to make protestants parties to the proceedings. Any person wishing to
become a party must file a motion to intervene. Copies of this filing
are on file with the Commission and are available for public inspection
