Iroquois Gas Transmission System, L.P.; Notice of Compliance 
Filing

November 4, 1997.
    Take notice that on October 30, 1997, Iroquois Gas Transmission 
System, L.P. (Iroquois), tendered for filing as part of its FERC Gas 
Tariff, First Revised Volume No. 1, Third Revised Sheet No. 57A, with 
an effective date of December 1, 1997.
    Iroquois states that the filing is being filed in compliance with 
the Commission's October 17, 1997, Letter Order in the above referenced 
docket.
    In its Order, the Commission directed Iroquois to file, within 15 
days of its order, a revised sheet No. 57A to be effective December 1, 
1997, which reflects a single time line nomination requirement 
consistent with that on First Revised Sheet No. 57A and incorporates 
the changes required by the May 19 and June 25 orders. Iroquois states 
that it is submitting Third Revised Sheet No. 57A to comply with the 
Commission's previous orders in this docket.
    Any person desiring to protest this filing should file a protest 
with the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission, 888 First Street, NE., 
Washington, DC 20426, in accordance with Section 385.211 of the 
Commission's Rules of Practice and Procedure. All such protests must be 
filed in accordance with Section 154.210 of the Commission's 
Regulations. Protests will be considered by the Commission in 
determining the appropriate action to be taken, but will not serve to 
make protestants parties to the proceeding. Copies of this filing are 
on file with the Commission and are available for public inspection.
