CNG Transportation Corporation; Notice of Refund Report

November 6, 1995.
    Take notice that on October 27, 1995, CNG Transmission Corporation 
(CNG) tendered for filing a report of the disposition of refunds 
received from the Gas Research Institute (GRI) for overcollections of 
the GRI surcharge during 1994. CNG states that the report is being made 
pursuant to the Commission's February 22, 1995, Order Approving Refund 
Methodology for 1994 Overcollections in GRI's Docket No. RP95-124-000.

    CNG states that the report shows that $412,967.00 refunded by GRI 
has been refunded pro rata to CNG's eligible firm customers on October 
16, 1995.
    Any person desiring to be heard or to protest said filing should 
file a motion to intervene or a protest with the Federal Energy 
Regulatory Commission, 888 First Street NE., Washington, D.C. 20426, in 
accordance with Rules 211 and 214 of the Commission's Rules of Practice 
and Procedure (18 CFR 385.211 and 385.214. All such motions or protests 
should be filed on or before November 14, 1995. Protests will be 
considered by the Commission in determining the appropriate action to 
be taken, but will not serve to make protestants parties to the 
proceeding. Any person wishing to become a party must file a motion to 
intervene. Copies of this filing are on file with the Commission and 
are available for public inspection.
