U-T Offshore System; Notice of Compliance Filing

November 6, 1997.
    Take notice that on November 3, 1997, U-T Offshore System (U-TOS), 
tendered for filing as part of its FERC Gas Tariff, Third Revised 
Volume No. 1, the following tariff sheets to be effective November 1, 
1997:

Sub Seventh Revised Sheet No. 73
Sub Second Revised Sheet No. 73A
Sub First Revised Sheet No. 73B

    U-TOS asserts that the purpose of this filing is to comply with the 
Commission's October 24, 1997, letter order in the captioned proceeding 
regarding Order No. 587-C. The above mentioned letter order indicated 
that a number of the standards did not reflect the correct version 
number set forth in Section 284.10(b) of the regulations, with the 
exception of the Electronic Delivery Mechanism Standards.
    Any person desiring to protest this filing should file a protest 
with the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission, 888 First Street, NE, 
Washington, DC 20426, in accordance with Section 385.211 of the 
Commission's Rules of Practice and Procedure. All such protests should 
be filed in accordance with Section 154.210 of the Commission's 
Regulations. Protests will be considered by the Commission in 
determining the appropriate action to be taken, but will not serve to 
make protestants parties to the proceeding. Copies of this filing are 
on file and are available for public inspection in the Public Reference 
Room.
