Synthetic Methionine From Japan
AGENCY: United States International Trade Commission.
ACTION: Notice of Commission decision to conduct a full five-year
review concerning the antidumping duty order on synthetic methionine
from Japan.

SUMMARY: On November 5, 1998, the Commission determined that a full
review pursuant to section 751(c)(5) of the Tariff Act of 1930 (19
U.S.C. Sec. 1675(c)(5)) should proceed in the subject five-year review.
The Commission ruled that interested party responses to the notice of
institution (63 F.R.41290, August 3, 1998) are adequate.1
Accordingly, the

Commission hereby gives notice of a full review to determine whether
revocation of the antidumping duty order on synthetic methionine from
Japan would be likely to lead to continuation or recurrence of material
injury. A schedule for the review will be established and announced at
a later date.
