463, as amended), the National Science Foundation announces the 
following meeting:

    Purpose of meeting: To review and comment on issues affecting 
the Survey of Scientific and Engineering Research Facilities at 
Colleges and Universities.
    Agenda: The advisory panel will use the first day to review the 
final draft of the 1998 S&E Research Facilities Report. The morning 
of the second day will be used to review and discuss the proposed 
follow-up survey to the 1998 Survey of Scientific and Engineering 
Research Facilities at Colleges and Universities; the 1999 
Instructional Facilities Survey--Pilot Study; and how the three data 
collection efforts will be integrated into the 2000 Survey of 
Scientific and Engineering Research Facilities.
