    ACTION:

    Notice of public meetings.

    SUMMARY:

    The North Pacific Fishery Management Council (Council) and its advisory committees will meet December 5, 2022, through December 14, 2022.

    DATES:

    The meetings will be held Monday, December 5, 2022, through Wednesday, December 14, 2022.

    SUPPLEMENTARY INFORMATION:

    The Council's Scientific and Statistical Committee (SSC) will begin at 8 a.m. in the Aleutian room on Monday, December 5, 2022, and continue through Wednesday, December 7, 2022. The Council's Advisory Panel (AP) will begin at 8 a.m. in the Denali room on Tuesday, December 6, 2022, and continue through Friday, December 9, 2022. The Council will begin at 8 a.m. in the Aleutian room on Thursday, December 8, 2022, and continue through Wednesday, December 14, 2022. The Bering Sea FEP LKTK Subsistence Taskforce (LKTKS) will meet on Monday, December 5, 2022, from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. in the Denali room. The Charter Halibut Committee will meet Wednesday, December 7, 2022, from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the North Pacific Fishery Management Council's Conference Room; 1007 W 3rd Ave, Suite 400, Anchorage, AK 99501-2252.     (4) Gulf of Alaska (GOA) Groundfish—(a) GOA Ecosystem Status Report, (b) SAFE report, (c) adopt ABC/OFLs, (d) Plan Team report.

    In addition to providing ongoing scientific advice for fishery management decisions, the SSC functions as the Council's primary peer review panel for scientific information, as described by the Magnuson-Stevens Act section 302(g)(1)(e), and the National Standard 2 guidelines (78 FR 43066). The peer-review process is also deemed to satisfy the requirements of the Information Quality Act, including the Office of Management and Budget (OMB) Peer Review Bulletin guidelines.
