Shipping Coordinating Committee, Subcommittee on Ocean Dumping; 
Notice of Meeting

    The Subcommittee on Ocean Dumping of the Shipping Coordinating 
Committee will hold an open meeting on November 17, 1995 from 1:00 p.m. 
to 3:00 p.m. to obtain public comment on the issues to be addressed 
December 4-8, 1995, at the Eighteenth Consultative Meeting of the 
Contracting Parties to the London Convention of 1972, which regulates 
ocean dumping. The meeting will also review the Eighteenth Scientific 
Group Meeting held in July 1995 and the Third Amendment Conference held 
in April 1995.
    The meeting will be held at the Environmental Protection Agency, 
Waterside Mall, 401 M Street, S.W., Washington, D.C. 20460, in the 8th 
Floor Conference Room of the West Tower. Interested members of the 
public are invited to attend, up to the capacity of the room. Upon 
entry to the West Tower, participants without government identification 
should dial 260-8199 to obtain clearance.
