Council on Graduate Medical Education Meeting
In accordance with section 10(a)(2) of the Federal Advisory
Committee Act (Pub. L. 92-463), announcement is made of the following
National Advisory body scheduled to meet during the month of December
1998:
Name: Council on Graduate Medical Education.
Date and Time: December 16, 1998, 8:30 a.m.-5 p.m.; December 17,
1998, 8:30 a.m.-1 p.m.
Place: Omni Shoreham Hotel, 2500 Calvert Street, NW, Washington,
DC.
This meeting is open to the Public.
Agenda: The agenda will include: Welcome and opening comments
from the Administrator, Health Resources and Services
Administration, the Associate Administrator for Health Professions
and the Acting Executive Secretary of COGME; a panel on GME
Financing Issues; a panel on GME Program Issues; and a panel on
Medical Education in Integrated Settings. The Council will hear an
update on Progress in Minority Entry into Medicine. It will discuss
the COGME 15th Report outline, and its future direction.
