ANR states that the purpose of this filing is to correct errors
made on these tariff sheets in its November 12, 1996 compliance filing
in this docket. Such compliance filing was made to reflect the removal
of the ``Rate Adjustment for Viking Transportation Costs'' provision
contained in Section 29 of the General Terms and Conditions of its
tariff, and the removal of approximately $10.2 million of Viking
Transportation Costs from its base rates.

with the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission, 888 First Street, NE,

Commission's Rules and Regulations. All such protests must be filed in
accordance with Section 154.210 of the Commission's Regulations.
Protests will be considered by the Commission in determining the
appropriate action to be taken, but will not serve to make protestants

Commission and are available for public inspection in the Public
    Reference Room.
