Notice Pursuant to the National Cooperative Research and 
Production Act of 1993--LCX Translational CMOS Logic Development 
Agreement

    Notice is hereby given that, on September 9, 1997, pursuant to 
Section 6(a) of the National Cooperative Research and Production Act of 
1993, 15 U.S.C. Sec. 4301 et seq. (``the Act''), the partners to the 
LCX Translational CMOS Logic Development Agreement (``Agreement'') have 
filed written notifications simultaneously with the Attorney General 
and the Federal Trade Commission disclosing changes in their 
membership. The notifications were filed for the purpose of extending 
the Act's provisions limiting the recovery of antitrust plaintiffs to 
actual damages under specified circumstances.
    Specifically, Fairchild Semiconductor Corporation has joined the 
venture. National Semiconductor Corporation has withdrawn from the 
venture. Both changes in membership became effective June 20, 1997.
    On September 7, 1994, the participants filed their original 
notification pursuant to section 6(a) of the Act. The Department of 
Justice published a notice in the Federal Register pursuant to Section 
6(b) of the Act on November 17, 1994 (59 FR 59434).
