Wild and Scenic Rivers
AGENCY: Bureau of Land Management, Interior.
ACTION: Proposed rule; reopening of comment period.

SUMMARY: On September 10, 1996, the Bureau of Land Management (BLM)
published a proposed rule in the Federal Register to establish uniform
standards and procedures affecting Wild and Scenic Rivers or Study
Rivers (61 FR 47726). The 30-day comment period for the proposed rule
expired on October 10, 1996. BLM has received several requests from the
public for additional time to comment and is reopening the comment
period for an additional 30 days.
DATES: Submit comments on or before December 4, 1996.
