AGENCY: Food and Drug Administration, HHS.
ACTION: Notice; correction.

SUMMARY: The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) is correcting a notice
that appeared in the Federal Register of August 12, 1996 (61 FR 41793).
The document announced the withdrawal of a food additive petition (FAP
3B4392) proposing that the food additive regulations be amended to
provide for the safe use of didecyldimethylammonium chloride as a
slimicide used in the manufacture of paper and paperboard intended to
contact food. The document was published with an error. This document
corrects that error.
