    ACTION: Notice of availability of grant funds.

        The Tribal Preservation Program of the National Park Service 
    invites applications for Fiscal Year 1997 Historic Preservation Fund 
    Grants to Indian Tribes, Alaska Natives, and Native Hawaiians. 
    Federally recognized Indian tribes are encouraged to submit proposals 
    to protect historic properties and cultural traditions under the 
    authority of the National Historic Preservation Act, as amended. For 
    more information and/or a copy of the Application and Guidelines,
