SMALL BUSINESS ADMINISTRATION

Notice of Closure of Receivership and Surrender of Licensee

    Notice is hereby given that Business Equity and Development 
Corporation (``BEDC''), has surrendered its License (No. 09/12-5151) to 
operate as a specialized small business investment company under the 
Small Business Investment Act of 1958, as amended. BEDC was licensed by 
the Small Business Administration on March 19, 1970.
    Pursuant to a Final Order dated April 23, 1993, the receivership 
was terminated. The surrender of the license was accepted on April 23, 
1993, and accordingly, all rights, privileges, and franchises derived 
therefrom have been terminated.
