    Crossroads Pipeline Company; Notice of Compliance Filing
    
    November 3, 1998.
        Take notice that on October 29, 1998, Crossroads Pipeline Company 
    (Crossroads) tendered for a filing as part of its FERC Gas Tariff, 
    Original Volume No. 1, the following tariff sheets to be effective 
    November 2, 1998:
    
    First Revised Sheet No. 14
    First Revised Sheet No. 24
    Fourth Revised Sheet No. 39
    Original Sheet No. 39A
    Original Sheet No. 39B
    First Revised Sheet No. 40
    First Revised Sheet No. 41
    Fifth Revised Sheet No. 76
    
        Crossroads states that the purpose of this filing is to comply with 
    Order No. 587-H, Final Rule Adopting Standards for Intra-day 
    Nominations and Order Establishing Implementation Date issued on July 
    15, 1998 in Docket No. RM96-1-008. That order, inter alia, required 
    that pipelines modify their tariffs to incorporate certain Gas Industry 
    Standard Board standards regarding intro-day nominations.
        Crossroads states that copies of the filing have been mailed to all 
    affected customers and applicable state regulatory agencies and all 
    parties to this proceeding.
        Any person desiring to be heard or to protest said filing should 
    file a motion

    to intervene or a protest with the Federal Energy Regulatory 
    Commission, 888 First Street, NE, Washington, DC 20426, in accordance 
    with Sections 385.214 or 385.211 of the Commission's Rules and 
    Regulations. All such motions or protests must be filed in accordance 
    with Section 154.210 of the Commission's Regulations. Protests will be 
    considered by the Commission in determining the appropriate action to 
    be taken, but will not serve to make protestants parties to the 
    proceedings. Any person wishing to become a party must file a motion to 
    intervene. Copies of this filing are on file with the Commission and 
    are available for public inspection in the Public Reference Room.
