    Transwestern Pipeline Company; Notice of Proposed Changes in FERC 
    Gas Tariff
    
    December 4, 1996.
        Take notice that on December 2, 1996, Transwestern Pipeline Company 
    (Transwestern) tendered for filing as part of its FERC Gas Tariff, 
    Second Revised Volume No. 1, the following tariff sheets, with an 
    effective date of January 1, 1997:
    
    14th Revised Sheet No. 48
    3rd Revised Sheet No. 64A
    Original Sheet No. 64A.1
    Original Sheet No. 64A.2
    Original Sheet No. 64A.3
    12th Revised Sheet No. 80
    
        Transwestern states that the purpose of this filing is to comply 
    with the Commission's November 15, 1996 order accepting Transwestern's 
    application for participation in a experimental pilot program removing 
    the price ceilings from secondary market transactions, and ordering 
    Transwestern to file tariff sheets to reflect participation in such 
    program.
        Transwestern states that copies of the filing were served on its 
    gas utility customers, interested state commissions, and all parties to 
    this proceeding.
        Any person desiring to protest said filing should file a protest 
    with the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission, 888 First Street, NE., 
    Washington, DC, 20426, in accordance with Section 385.211 of the 
    Commission's Rules of Practice and Procedure. All such protests must be 
    filed in accordance with Section 154.210 of the Commission's 
    Regulations. Protests will be considered by the Commission in 
    determining the appropriate action to be taken, but will not serve to 
    make protestants parties to the proceeding. Copies of this filing are 
    on file with the Commission and are available for public inspection.
