Northern Natural Gas Co.; Notice of Proposed Changes in FERC Gas 
Tariff

December 6, 1994.
    Take notice that on December 1, 1994, Northern Natural Gas Company 
(Northern), tendered for filing changes in its FERC Gas Tariff, Fifth 
Revised Volume No. 1.
    Northern states that the filing is being made in compliance with 
the November 30, 1994, Order Authorizing Abandonment and Determining 
Jurisdictional Status of Facilities in Docket Nos. CP94-142-000 and 
CP94-145-000, related to abandonment of certain facilities and 
termination of natural gas gathering and processing services in New 
Mexico.
    Any person desiring to be heard or to protest said filing should a 
motion to intervene or protest with the Federal Energy Regulatory 
Commission, 825 North Capitol Street, N.E., Washington, DC 20426, in 
accordance with Secs. 385.214 and 385.211 of the Commission's Rules and 
Regulations. All such motions or protests should be filed on or before 
December 13, 1994. All protests will be considered by the Commission in 
determining the appropriate proceeding, but will not serve to make 
protestant a party to the proceedings. Any person wishing to become a 
party must file a motion to intervene. Copies of this filing are on 
file with the Commission and are available for inspection.
