Office of Environmental Management; Federal Advisory Committee to 
Develop On-Site Innovative Technologies for Environmental Management 
Renewal

    Pursuant to Section 14(a)(2)(A) of the Federal Advisory Committee 
Act, and in accordance with Title 41 of the Code of Federal 
Regulations, section 101-6.1015(a), and following consultation with the 
Committee Management Secretariat, General Servicers administration, 
notice is hereby given that the Federal Advisory to Develop On-Site 
Innovative Technologies for Environmental Management has been renewed 
for a two year period beginning in December 1994. The Committee will 
continue to provide a advice to the Departments of Energy, Defense, 
Interior, the Environmental Protection agency and the Western 
Governors' Association on how to carry out the tasks outlined in a 
Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) signed by the above on July 22, 1991.
    The renewal of the Federal Advisory Committee to Develop On-Site 
Innovative Technologies for Environmental Management has been 
determined to be essential to the conduct of the Department of Energy 
business and to be in the public interest in connection with the 
performance of duties imposed upon the Department of Energy by law. The 
Committee will operate in accordance with the provisions of the Federal 
Advisory Committee Act, the Department of Energy Organization Act (Pub. 
L. 95-91), and rules and regulations issued in implementation of those 
Acts.
