Notice of New Docket Prefix ``JR''

December 11, 1998.
    Notice is hereby given that a new docket prefix JR has been 
established for jurisdictional reviews of licensed projects under the 
Federal Power Act.
    The Commission will use this docket prefix when opening a docket 
for applications for jurisdictional reviews of hydroelectric projects 
operating under a Commission license.\1\

    \1\ The Commission will continue to use the ``UL'' prefix for 
applications for jurisdictional reviews of existing hydroelectric 
projects that are not operating under a Commission license.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------

    The prefix will be JRFY-NNN-000, where ``FY'' stands for the fiscal 
year in which the filing was made, and ``NNN'' is a sequential number.
