Young Gas Storage Company Ltd.; Notice of Proposed Changes in 
FERC Gas Tariff

November 25, 1996.
    Take notice that on November 21, 1996, Young Gas Storage Company 
Ltd. (Young), tendered for filing to become part of its FERC Gas 
Tariff, Original Volume No. 1, the pro forma tariff sheets listed in 
Appendix A to the filing, to be effective May 1, 1997.
    Young states that the purpose of this compliance filing is to 
conform Young's tariff to the requirements of Order No. 587.
    Young further states that copies of this filing have been served on 
Young's jurisdictional customers and public bodies.
    Any person desiring to be heard or to protest this filing should 
file a motion to intervene or protest with the Federal Energy 
Regulatory Commission, 888 First Street, N.E., Washington, DC 20426, in 
accordance with Section 385.214 and Section 385.211 of the Commission's 
Regulations. All such motions or protests must be filed on or before 
December 12, 1996. Protests will be considered by the Commission in 
determining the appropriate action to be taken, but will not serve to 
make protestants parties to the proceeding. Any person wishing to 
become a party must file a motion to intervene. Copies of this filing 
are on file with the Commission and are available for public inspection 
in the Public Reference Room.
