Sale of Public Land in Socorro County, NM

AGENCY: Bureau of Land Management (BLM), Interior.

ACTION: Modified notice of realty action.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------

SUMMARY: This notice withdraws the sale of Parcel No. 1, described in 
the previous Notice of Realty Action which was published in the Federal 
Register on October 18, 1996, Volume 61, No. 203, pages 54453 and 
54454. The reason for the withdrawal is because of the need to evaluate 
an application filed under the Recreation and Public Purposes Act to 
lease the subject land. The sale of all other parcels remains 
unchanged.
