ADMINISTRATIVE CONFERENCE OF THE UNITED STATES
Notice of Public Meeting
SUMMARY: Pursuant to the Federal Advisory Committee Act (Pub. L. No.
92-463), notice is hereby given of a meeting of the Assembly of the
Administrative Conference of the United States.
DATES: Thursday, January 19, 1995, 1:00 p.m.; Friday, January 20, 1995,
9:00 a.m.

SUPPLEMENTARY INFORMATION: The Assembly of the Administrative
Conference of the United States makes recommendations to administrative
agencies, the President, Congress, and the Judicial Conference of the
United States regarding the efficiency, adequacy, and fairness of the
administrative procedures used by Federal agencies in carrying out
their programs. The Assembly will meet in Plenary Session to consider,
not necessarily in the order stated, proposed recommendations on the
following subjects:
1. Application and Modification of Exemption 8 of the Freedom of
Information Act; and
2. Debarment and Suspension from Federal Programs.
The following topics will be the subject of brief presentations and
discussion by the members of the Conference:
3. Self-Enforcement as a Regulatory Technique; and
4. Procedures at the Foreign-Trade Zones Board.
The Conference's staff will report to the members on the status of
efforts by the Administrative Conference and other federal agencies to
implement the Administrative Dispute Resolution Act, Public Law 101-
552. The agenda will also include a forum on reform of the regulatory
process.
