Southern Company Services, Inc.; Notice of Filing

December 18, 1995.
    Take notice that on December 6, 1995, Southern Company Services, 
Inc., acting on behalf of Alabama Power Company, Georgia Power Company, 
Gulf Power Company, Mississippi Power Company and Savannah Electric and 
Power Company (Collectively referSouthern Companies), tendered for 
filing a supplement to its filing under section 205 of the Federal 
Power Act. The Supplemented Filing involves the Interchange Service 
Contract between Southern Companies and Koch Power Services, Inc. The 
Interchange Service Contract establishes the terms and conditions of 
power supply, including provisions relating to service conditions, 
control of system disturbances, metering and other matters related to 
the administration of the agreement.
    Any person desiring to be heard or to protest said filing should 
file a motion to intervene or protest with the Federal Energy 
Regulatory Commission, 888 First Street, NE, Washington, DC 20426, in 
accordance with Rules 211 and 214 of the Commission's Rules of Practice 
and Procedure (18 CFR 385.211 and 18 CFR 385.214). All such motions or 
protests should be filed on or before December 29, 1995. Protests will 
be considered by the Commission in determining the appropriate action 
to be taken, but will not serve to make protestants parties to the 
proceeding. Any person wishing to become a party must file a motion to 
intervene. Copies of this filing are on file with the Commission and 
are available for public inspection.
