    Notice of Availability of Final Environmental Impact Statement
    
    AGENCY: U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, Department of the Interior.
    
    ACTION: Notice of availability of a final Environmental Impact 
    Statement for the proposed reintroduction of the Mexican gray wolf 
    within its historic range in the southwestern United States.

    SUPPLEMENTARY INFORMATION: A limited number of individual copies of the 
    EIS may be obtained from the above address. Copies of the final EIS 
    have been distributed to public libraries throughout Arizona and New 
    Mexico, to Federal, State, local, and tribal agencies and organizations 
    that commented on the draft EIS, and to individuals requesting copies. 
    Copies of the EIS and copies of public comment on the draft EIS are 
    also available for inspection at the U.S. Department of the Interior, 
    Fish and Wildlife Service, Region 2 Headquarters, Albuquerque, New 
    Mexico. Any comments on the proposal must be received no later than 30 
    days after the date of publication of the notice of availability, by 
    EPA in the Federal Register, of the EIS on the reintroduction of the 
    Mexican gray wolf within its historic range in the southwestern United 
    States. No action will be taken on this proposal before 30 days 
    following publication of the notice of availability of the EIS by EPA.
