Mead Corporation; Rumford, Maine; Notice of Termination of 
Investigation

    Pursuant to Section 250 of the Trade Act of 1974, an investigation 
was initiated on November 30, 1998, in response to a petition filed on 
the same date on behalf of workers at Mead Corporation, Rumford, Maine.
    Currently, there is a petition investigation (TA-W-35,090) in 
progress for the workers at the subject firm. Consequently, further 
investigation in this case would serve no purpose, and the 
investigation has been terminated.
