SUMMARY:

This document dismisses a pending petition for rulemaking to add an FM allotment in Early, Texas. The Audio Division had requested comment on a petition filed by Jeraldine Anderson, proposing the allotment of Channel 294A at Early, Texas. See 66 FR 52733, October 17, 2001. Petitioner filed comments supporting the requested allotment, but subsequently submitted a request for dismissal of her petition. This document dismisses the petition for failure to demonstrate a continuing interest in the requested allotment, based upon petitioner's request for dismissal. The document therefore terminates the proceeding.
