Board for International Food and Agricultural Development One
Hundred and Twenty-Fifth Meeting; Notice of Meeting
Pursuant to the Federal Advisory Committee Act, notice is hereby
given of the one hundred and twenty-fifth meeting of the Board for
International Food and Agricultural Development (BIFAD). The meeting
will be held from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on February 9, and from 9 a.m. to
12:15 p.m. on February 10, 1998, both days, at the Pan-American Health
Organization, located at 525 23rd Street NW., Washington, DC 20523, in
Conference Room B.
As part of its two-day agenda, Board members will discuss the Food
Aid Code of Conduct; enhancing interactions and information exchange
among key groups such as the private sector and universities; and the
involvement of the USDA's Agriculture Research Service in USAID's
activities. It will also receive an update from the Board's task force
reviewing the Collaborative Research Support Program guidelines.
The meeting is open to the public. Any interested person may attend
the meeting, may file written statements with the Committee before or
after the meeting, or present any oral statements in accordance with
procedures established by the Committee, to the extent that time
available for the meeting permits.
