ANR Pipeline Company; Notice of Compliance Filing

December 19, 1996.
    Take notice that on December 16, 1996, ANR Pipeline Company (ANR) 
tendered for filing, as part of its FERC Gas Tariff, Second Revised 
Volume No. 1, the following revised tariff sheets, proposed to become 
effective January 1, 1997:

Second Revised Sheet No. 37
Original Sheet No. 37A
Fifth Revised Sheet No. 39
Sixth Revised Sheet No. 120

    ANR states that these tariff changes, regarding scheduling of its 
Rate Schedule FTS-2 service, are being submitted in compliance with the 
Commission's November 29, 1996 Order Accepting and Suspending Tariff 
Sheets Subject to Refund and Condition in the captioned proceeding.
    Any person desiring to protest this filing should file a protest 
with the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission, 888 First Street, N.E., 
Washington, D.C. 20426, in accordance with Section 385.211 of the 
Commission's Rules and Regulations. All such protests must be filed in 
accordance with Section 154.210 of the Commission's Regulations. 
Protests will be considered by the Commission in determining the 
appropriate action to be taken, but will not serve to make protestants 
parties to the proceeding. Copies of this filing are on file with the 
Commission and are available for public inspection in the Public 
Inspection Room.
