Antifriction Bearings (Other Than Tapered Roller Bearings) and
Parts Thereof From Singapore: Amended Final Results of Antidumping Duty
Administrative Review
AGENCY: International Trade Administration, Import Administration,
Department of Commerce.
ACTION: Notice of amended final results of antidumping duty
administrative review.

SUMMARY: On December 5, 1996, the Department of Commerce (the
Department) issued the final results of administrative review of the
antidumping duty orders on Antifriction Bearings (Other Than Tapered
Roller Bearings) and Parts Thereof from France, Germany, Italy, Japan,
Singapore, Sweden, and the United Kingdom, which published on December
17, 1996 in the Federal Register.
The classes or kinds of merchandise covered by these reviews are
ball bearings and parts thereof, cylindrical roller bearings and parts
thereof, and spherical plain bearings and parts thereof. The reviews
cover 64 manufacturers/exporters. The review period is May 1, 1993,
through April 30, 1994. We are correcting a margin-rate error with
respect to ball bearings from Singapore manufactured/exported by NMB/
Pelmec.

SUPPLEMENTARY INFORMATION:
Background
On December 5, 1996, the Department of Commerce (the Department)
issued the final results of the fifth administrative review of the
antidumping duty orders on Antifriction Bearings (Other Than Tapered
Roller Bearings) and Parts Thereof from France, Germany, Italy, Japan,
Singapore, Sweden, and the United Kingdom, which published on

December 17, 1996 in the Federal Register. The classes or kinds of
merchandise covered by these reviews are ball bearings and parts
thereof, cylindrical roller bearings and parts thereof, and spherical
plain bearings and parts thereof. The reviews cover 64 manufacturers/
exporters. The review period is May 1, 1993, through April 30, 1994.
After issuance of our final results, we realized that we did not
publish the correct margin we calculated for the final results with
respect to ball bearings exported by NMB/Pelmec.
Applicable Statute and Regulations
Unless otherwise indicated, all citations to the statute and to the
Department's regulations are references to the provisions as they
existed on December 31, 1994.
Amended Final Results of Review
We have determined the following weighted-average margin to exist
for the period May 1, 1993, through April 30, 1994:

This deposit requirement is effective upon publication of this
notice of amended final results of administrative review for all
shipments entered, or withdrawn from warehouse, for consumption on or
after the date of publication, as provided by section 751(a)(1) of the
Tariff Act of 1930 (as amended). This deposit requirement shall remain
in effect until publication of the final results of the next
administrative review.
This notice serves as a final reminder to importers of their
responsibility under 19 CFR 353.26 to file a certificate regarding the
reimbursement of antidumping duties prior to liquidation of the
relevant entries during this review period. Failure to comply with this
requirement could result in the Secretary's presumption that
reimbursement of antidumping duties occurred and the subsequent
assessment of double antidumping duties.
This notice also serves as the only reminder to parties subject to
administrative protective orders (APO) of their responsibility
concerning the return or destruction of proprietary information
disclosed under APO in accordance with 19 CFR 353.34(d). Failure to
comply is a violation of the APO.
This administrative review and this notice are in accordance with
section 751(a)(1) of the Tariff Act (19 U.S.C. 1675(a)(1)) and 19 CFR
353.22.
